We review the proposed cover, kitchen layout, drainage and utility connections together. We can provide 3D renderings so you can see your project before it's built.

Planning your Hockley backyard
Where should we start with a bare backyard at our new Hockley home?
Start with how you want to use it: covered seating, outdoor cooking or room to gather. Bring your survey and priorities to the consultation. We can plan the patio, structure and utility connections together before you commit to individual features.
Who handles the HOA submittal for our Hockley master-planned community?
HPC handles HOA submittals for clients case by case. Share your community name and any guidelines you received from the builder or HOA. We review the requirements for your property and proposed work rather than assume every community follows the same process.
Can a covered patio be planned around the slab our builder installed?
We assess the existing slab, the proposed cover and how the space connects to your home. An existing slab is not automatically suitable for the new structure. We explain what can be used and what preparation the proposed design needs.
What should we decide before adding an outdoor kitchen to a new home?
Choose the appliances and think about where you want to cook, prepare food and sit. We then review the available utility connections and plan the kitchen with the patio and cover, so those decisions are made together.
What starting prices should we use to plan a Hockley patio or kitchen?
Patio covers and pavilions start at $25,000. Outdoor kitchens start at $15,000, excluding appliances. These are separate service starting prices; the proposal depends on your design, scope and property conditions.
